Azerbaijan to host int’l conference titled ‘LAW & CLIMATE’

Azerbaijan Judges' Union will hold an international conference titled "LAW & CLIMATE" on the eve of COP29, Report informs, citing the union.

The conference aims to raise awareness within the legal community about global climate change processes and promote understanding of existing international and national legal frameworks in this field.

Also, the conference will feature panel discussions on topics such as the “UN Framework Convention on Climate Change: Kyoto, Doha, and Paris Annexes”, “Climate Change and Human Rights: Challenges and Legal Regulation”, “Implementation of Justice by National and International Courts in Climate Change Disputes”, and “The Role of Combating Environmental Crime in Achieving Climate Change Targets: International and National Context.”
