Azerbaijan sees decline in number of divorces

Over the past eight months of 2022, the district (city) registration departments of the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry registered 40,277 marriages and 10,391 divorces.

Report learned from the State Statistical Committee that the number of marriages increased from 5.4 to 6.0 per 1,000 people, and the number of divorces fell from 1.7 to 1.5 per 1,000.
