Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (SKR), and Kamran Aliyev, Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, outlined the primary tasks within the framework of their joint investigation into the tragic plane crash in Aktau, Kazakhstan, Report informs, citing Russian media.

According to the SKR, the two leaders expressed their readiness for comprehensive cooperation and agreed upon the immediate priorities of the investigation. The discussion focused on the well-established, multi-faceted interaction between Russian investigators and forensic experts and their counterparts from the investigative-operational groups of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

Bastrykin assured that the most experienced employees of the SKR central apparatus, equipped with advanced forensic technology, have been assigned to the investigation.
