Almost 1,800 hectares of Azerbaijan's liberated territories cleared of mines in 1 week

From May 19 to 25, fifty-two anti-tank mines, 80 anti-personnel mines, and 683 unexploded ordnance were found and defused in the liberated Azerbaijani territories, reads the weekly update of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

According to Report, 1,795.7 hectares of territory have been cleared of mines.

Mine clearance operations were carried out by ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Border Service and four private companies in the territories of Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankandi, the city of Shusha, Khojavand, Lachin, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan.
