Women represent 33% of Azercosmos employees

Women form 33% of the total number of employees of Azerbaijan's Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Dunay Badirkhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azercosmos, said at the event "Women in Space: challenges and opportunities" held at ADA University, Report informs.
Badirkhanov noted that most of the women working in the institution majored in chemistry, physics, applied mathematics, and engineering:
"The professionalism shown by our female colleagues in managing satellites and providing satellite services is worthy of appreciation. Currently, our ladies work in many fields such as space business and strategy planning, finance, economic law, marketing."
