Value of information, communication services in Azerbaijan up by nearly 8%

In the first quarter of 2025, information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan delivered services worth 823.5 million manats (almost $484.4 million), marking a 7.7% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

The private sector accounted for 83.4% of the income generated in this sector, while the population contributed 73%.

In March alone, the value of services provided by information and communication enterprises stood at 269.5 million manats ($158.5 million), which is 3% more compared to a year ago.

In 2024, the value of services provided by information and communication enterprises exceeded 3.061 million manats (just over $1.8 billion), reflecting an 11.4% increase compared to 2023.
