Training cybersecurity experts in Azerbaijan is an honor, says Technion official

Training cybersecurity professionals in Azerbaijan is a great honor, said Moti Yeger, General Director at Israel's Technion Continuing Education School, during the fifth graduation ceremony at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, Report informs.

“Technology is evolving rapidly. Fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, and cybersecurity are developing dynamically. These tools offer great opportunities, but they must be used responsibly and with care,” Yeger noted.

He emphasized that the training program for which a graduation ceremony is held is the result of close cooperation with Azerbaijan and has already produced over 260 cybersecurity specialists.

“Each graduating class consists of about 100 participants, and many alumni now hold key positions in Azerbaijan’s emerging cyber ecosystem,” he said.

Yeger underlined that their core philosophy is open access to knowledge, but with wise application: “Our goal is to train professionals capable of protecting the digital world. This program serves exactly that purpose.”
