Azerbaijan is actively building human capital in the field of cyber and information security, Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, told journalists, according to Report.
He recalled that the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center was established in 2023 with the support of PASHA Holding and in cooperation with the Israeli Technological Institute.
“Today we are celebrating the graduation of the center’s 5th training cohort. Another 100 specialists are entering the labor market in the field of cyber and information security. To date, the center has graduated 380 specialists, 74% of whom are already working in their respective fields,” Osmanov said.
He also noted that government agencies are focused not only on workforce development but also on strengthening incident management mechanisms, enhancing the regulatory framework, updating personal data protection legislation, and implementing modern technologies in the area of information security.
