New achievements in decarbonizing int'l aviation to be mulled at COP29

On November 20, as part of the Day of Urbanization, Transport and Tourism at COP29, a high-level panel discussion on "International Aviation and Climate Change" will be held, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

The event will bring together government officials, industry leaders, and stakeholders to discuss progress in decarbonizing international aviation.

Among the key topics of the panel discussion is the International Civil Aviation Organization's goal of achieving carbon neutrality in international aviation by 2050.
