Korea increases mobile phone exports to Azerbaijan by over 40 times 

In January-February 2022, Azerbaijan imported 232.154 mobile phones worth $45.55 million, down 22.3% and 4.1%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs referring to the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 128,424 phones ($25.98 million) from China, 74,348 ($12.79 million) from Vietnam, 29,025 ($6.45 million) from India, 346 ($305,690) from Korea, 10 ($12,060) from the United States, and 1 ($2,520) from Germany.

Compared to the previous year, the imports from China dropped by 33.5% (-12.7%), from Vietnam - by 7.3 (+4.9%), from India increased by 14.7% (+18.7%), from Korea – by 43.3 times (+22.7 times), from the US – by 3.3 times (+4.5 times), and from Germany fell by 66.7% (-71.1%).
