Kanan Guluzada: Eurasian forum to boost Azerbaijan’s winter tourism

The Eurasian Mountain Tourism Forum will play a key role in advancing Azerbaijan’s winter and mountain tourism sector, Kanan Guluzada, Advisor to the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, said.
According to Report, Guluzada emphasized that in recent years, tourism—particularly winter tourism—has become one of Azerbaijan’s major economic sectors.
“The development of winter tourism in our country, including the expansion of leading tourist hubs like Shahdag, has been made possible through the consistent efforts of the State Tourism Agency,” he noted.
Guluzade also highlighted that Azerbaijan has hosted several high-level winter sports competitions, underscoring the country's commitment to strengthening its position on the international stage.
