Investments in Azerbaijan's information and communication sector grow by 40%

In the first two months of 2024, investments in Azerbaijan's information and communication sector totaled 50.1 million manat (around $29.56 million), reflecting a 39.8% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Report, citing the State Statistics Committee, investments in the sector in February alone amounted to 18.7 million manat (around $11.03 million), which is 18.3% less than in February 2023.

During the reporting period, the information and communication sector accounted for 2.5% of total investments in the country’s economy.

Additionally, in 2024, investments in the sector reached 630.4 million manat (around $371.94 million), marking a 59.5% increase compared to 2023.
