Google continues to lose its market share in Azerbaijan

In November 2024, Google's search engine market share across all platforms (computers, mobile devices, and tablets) in Azerbaijan decreased to 84.18%, according to Statcounter, Report informs.

This is 0.09 percentage points lower than in October and 7.72 percentage points lower compared to the same period last year. The market share of this search engine has been declining for 5 consecutive months.

Yandex, in second place, saw its market share increase by 0.16 percentage points during the month and by 7.26 percentage points annually, reaching 14.03%.

Bing, in the next position, had its market share decrease by 0.03 percentage points compared to October, while increasing by 0.23 percentage points compared to November last year, reaching 0.97%.

Yahoo, in fourth place, saw its market share increase by 0.03 percentage points compared to the previous month and by 0.13 percentage points compared to a year ago, reaching 0.43%.

DuckDuckGo, completing the top five, maintained its market share unchanged from October, while increasing by 0.14 percentage points compared to November 2023, reaching 0.35%.
