Farid Osmanov: Cybersecurity center aims to train specialists of the future

The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center is designed not only to train professionals for today’s needs but to prepare experts capable of meeting the challenges of the future, according to Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, Report informs.

“In the era of rapid digitalization, the importance of cybersecurity is increasing every day,” Osmanov said during the fifth "Graduation Day" at the Cybersecurity Center, which was established in collaboration with Israel’s Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

“Our entire lives—from mobile phones to payment systems—are tied to digital technologies. But as these digital capabilities grow, so do the risks," he noted.

Osmanov emphasized that cybersecurity must become a shared priority for government institutions, the private sector, and individual users alike, as threats to digital infrastructure continue to evolve.
