Farid Osmanov: Azerbaijan's Ganja Innovation Center planned to open by year-end

The opening of Azerbaijan's Ganja Innovation Center is planned by the end of this year, Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency Farid Osmanov said at the opening ceremony of the international acceleration program "Green and Digital Silk Road," Report informs.

According to him, in the near future a corresponding cluster will also be formed at Nakhchivan State University. He noted that today there are five important areas in the formation of a startup ecosystem: "They form the basis of our strategic vision. This is the formation of innovative thinking, increasing financial accessibility. The Caucasus Ventures venture fund has been created in Azerbaijan, which is supported by both the agency and the state. In addition to this, work is underway to create three more financial institutions. The Inmerge fund has already been formed and will begin its activities in the near future."
