Export earnings of Azerbaijan’s Azercosmos grow 33% in September

In September this year, the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport exported services (satellite telecommunications and optical satellite) to 35 countries for $2.1 million, Report informs referring to the October issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
Compared to the same period last year, this is 9 countries less and $0.6 million or 33.33% more.
In January-September this year, Azercosmos under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan exported services worth $19.3 million to 38 countries. This is $13 million (40.25%) less than in the same period last year.
In nine months, Azercosmos sold the most services to the UK ($5 million), France ($3.9 million), Luxembourg ($3.3 million), UAE ($1.8 million) and Pakistan ($1.1 million).
The space agency’s service export revenue accounted for 82% of total revenue, down 9 percentage points year-on-year.
