EU cooperating with Aztelecom to support digital transformation in Azerbaijan

The EU is supporting the digital transformation in Azerbaijan, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko told journalists, Report informs.
He noted that the EU is cooperating with Aztelecom in this area, adding that 5 million euros have been allocated by the EU to provide high-speed internet in rural areas.
The ambassador said that the Baku port is an important hub for regional development, and the EU will continue to strengthen cooperation with it.
