Central Bank of Azerbaijan developing digital manat concept 

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is developing a ‘digital manat’ concept, Chief Specialist at the Payment Systems and Settlements Department of CBA, Rashad Gasimov, said during the Fintex Summit 2022, Report informs.

Some leading central banks worldwide have already launched the digital version of their currency.

“As a Central Bank, we are closely observing these initiatives,” he said. “Advanced world experience in this sphere is being used.”
