Azercosmos holding talks with leading int'l companies to launch satellite

The Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Digital Development and Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan is negotiating with leading international satellite manufacturers to launch a new Azerbaijani satellite, Azercosmos told Report.

“Negotiations will continue until the most suitable choice is made for our country and our clients. In general, thorough research is needed before developing and commissioning a new satellite. Customers have requirements such as innovation, suitable price, and after-sales support. These expectations are constantly changing and updating,” the agency said.

Azercosmos noted that at the same time, the economic and non-economic benefits and advantages for Azerbaijan are studied before launching a satellite into orbit.
