Representatives of the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan participated in the Global CyberDrill 2025 held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Report informs.
According to the ministry, the event was co-organized by the Telecommunication Development Sector of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the UAE Cybersecurity Council.
The first day of the event opened with a high-level panel discussion on cybersecurity trends facing developing countries and the impact of these issues on the digital economy and sustainable development. During the next two days of the event, a technical competition based on real cyber incident scenarios was organized with the participation of national CERT representatives from 130 countries. The competition included practical tasks on scenarios on the topics of APT Compromise Detection and Investigation and OSINT Dark Web Investigation of Terrorist Cyber-Attack.
In the second category of the competition, Azerbaijani representative Aykhan Huseynli claimed 5th place.
