Azerbaijan nearly triples desktop computer production

Azerbaijan produced 1,427 laptops and 1,695 desktop computers from January to May this year — up 62% and 2.6 times, respectively, from the same period last year.

Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that last month, no laptops were manufactured in the country, but 11 desktop computers were produced, a 79% drop from a year earlier.

In 2024, Azerbaijan manufactured 1,715 laptops and 2,139 desktop computers — a 3-fold increase for laptops and a 43.3% decline for desktops — year-on-year.
