Azerbaijan is currently experiencing a shortage of data analysts, the Deputy Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), Rashad Khalikov, told a presser, Report informs.
Khalikov pointed out that a significant factor contributing to this shortage is the lack of market demand for data analytics.
He emphasized that developing a culture of data utilization is essential. “The private sector typically leads in cultivating experts in new fields in response to market needs. There’s a growing acceptance of data-driven decision-making within private companies, although it remains limited to a handful of large corporations,” explained Khalikov.
