Azerbaijan begins cooperation with Uzbekistan in space education

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (Azercosmos) and Stars International University of Uzbekistan.
Report informs, citing Azercosmos, that the document aims to increase mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the areas of education, scientific research, and space sector development.
The Memorandum of Understanding was also signed to ensure the exchange of experience and knowledge in the space sector, and to develop economic, industrial, scientific, technical, and technological cooperation in the ICT sphere. Opportunities for cooperation in various fields are envisaged within the framework of this agreement.
The signing ceremony took place during the Space Technology Conference (STC) being held in Baku under the auspices of Azercosmos. During the STC, Azercosmos signed about 10 Memorandums of Understanding.
