Azerbaijan, Japan discuss participation in Hiroshima AI Process

Azerbaijan and Japan have discussed the finalization of an Action Plan for cooperation in information and communication technologies (ICT) and postal services, participation in the Hiroshima AI Process, and the use of ICT in disaster prevention.

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, cited by Report, the issues were discussed at a meeting between Deputy Minister Samaddin Asadov and Hideo Fuseda, Japan's Deputy Minister for International Affairs at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

The sides discussed expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in digital development and ICT, exchanging experience in artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation and innovation, as well as opportunities to implement joint projects.
