In August 2023, Azerbaijan ranked 120th among 182 countries for fixed broadband Internet speed with 28.7 Mbps, Report informs, citing the Speedtest Global Index.

In terms of fixed broadband internet speeds, Singapore ranked first (254.65 MB/s) and Cuba ranked last (1.95 MB/s).

Last month, Azerbaijan rose two notches in terms of mobile internet speed, ranking 54th among 145 countries with a speed of 42.94 Mbps.

For mobile internet speed, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked first (205.77 MB/s) and Cuba finished last (3.87 MB/s).

Moreover, in August, the city of Baku remained unchanged in terms of mobile Internet speed (45.5 MB/s), ranking 73rd among 171 cities. In terms of the speed of fixed broadband Internet, the capital of Azerbaijan has moved down three notches and ranked 141st (29.21 MB/s).

Among cities, Dubay, UAE, came in first in terms of mobile Internet speed with 259.65 MB / s, and Havana, Cuba, was the last with 4.11 MB/s.

The ranking of cities on fixed broadband Internet includes 193 cities. The capital Abu Dhabi, UAE, topped the list (280.24 MB/s), while Havana was the last in the ranking (1.88 MB/s).
