Average salary in Azerbaijan's ICT sector up by nearly 16%

In January-February 2025, the average monthly nominal wage in the information and communications (ICT) sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 1,897 manat ($1.115), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

This indicator was 1,568 manat ($920) in the public sector and 2,144 manats ($1,261) in the private sector.

Compared to the same period last year, the average monthly nominal wage in the sector increased by 15.7%, including 14.2% in the public sector and 16.2% in the private sector.

As of March 1, the number of employees working in the ICT sector was 33,700 thousand, which is 3.4% more than a year earlier.
