WHO official: ‘We hope the number of coronavirus infections will decrease from now on’

“The pandemic is below a certain level all over the world and in Azerbaijan,” WHO representative in Azerbaijan, Hande Harmanci, said in a symposium on ‘The Improvement of the emergency medical service system in Azerbaijan’, Report informs.
She said the pandemic era has again confirmed how vital emergency medical services are: “Our goal is to make serious improvements in this direction. The pandemic is below a certain level all over the world and in Azerbaijan. We hope that the number of infections will decrease from now on. But it does not mean that there will not be a new pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen all emergency and other medical systems.”
