WHO official: COVID-19 still present, although not as threatening as before

COVID-19 is no longer as threatening as before, but it still exists, according to Hande Harmanci, representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
Harmanci noted that the coronavirus has not completely ended and will continue in the future:
"Therefore, it is necessary to be careful and follow protective measures. Influenza viruses are a part of our lives, and every year recommendations regarding vaccination are given especially for people over 65 years of age."
