Teymur Musayev: Azerbaijan strengthens material and technical base in healthcare sector

In recent years, modern healthcare infrastructure facilities have been built in Azerbaijan, medical institutions are equipped with the latest technological equipment, and the material and technical base is being strengthened, the country’s Health Minister Teymur Musayev said while speaking at the Medinex 2023 exhibition, Report informs.

The minister noted that one of the main tasks is to ensure the application of modern medical science advancements in the national health care system:

“The Ministry highly values and supports the organization of exhibitions, which allow us to present innovative products to the medical community, follow modern trends, and ensure the practical application of scientific and technical achievements. Healthcare is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the economy in the world. Nowadays, it is important not only to produce high-quality products but also to be able to promote them on the market. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown how important it is for each country to provide itself with high-quality medical products on its own. I believe that today’s event will contribute to the development of business cooperation, increasing investments and public health,” Musayev said.
