Number of people vaccinated in Azerbaijan announced

Some 2,069 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab reached 285 people today, while 218 people got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 1,386 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine. The number of booster doses after recovery was 180.

To date, 13,732,275 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,349,130 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,849,817 have been double jabbed.

As of today, 3,286,801 people have received a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Azerbaijan.

As many as 246,527 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
