The Health Ministries of Azerbaijan and Belarus have signed a Roadmap for 2024-2025, Azerbaijan's Health Ministry told Report.
On October 3, as part of the visit of a delegation led by Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov to Belarus, documents on cooperation in a number of areas, including healthcare, were signed between the two countries.
The document was inked by Ministers of Health Teymur Musayev and Aleksandr Khodzhayev.
The Roadmap defines such areas of cooperation as academic and scientific exchange, training of medical personnel, pharmaceutical industry, and digitalization of healthcare systems.
In addition, the document provides for the exchange of experience and professional development of specialists and doctors working in medical oncology, transplantology, cardiology, neurosurgery and other fields of medicine, as well as the exchange of information on areas of cooperation with research institutes and centers.
