Health Minister: "Pandemic can be declared over"

"There is a possibility that COVID vaccines will be used as a seasonal vaccine," Health Minister Teymur Musayev told reporters, Report informs.

According to the minister, the expectation is that the pandemic may be declared over as a result of herd immunity.

"But we must be very careful. There are certain expectations until the autumn. If there is no jump in the fall, this issue can be declared closed. Over time, collective immunity weakens. If there are any changes in this regard, a possible seasonal vaccination against COVID-19 might be announced.”
