Health Minister: No monkeypox cases recorded in Azerbaijan

"Despite the fact that the number of patients infected with the monkeypox increases in the world, no cases have been recorded in Azerbaijan," Minister of Health Teymur Musayev told journalists, Report informs.
According to him, in connection with the monkeypox, the ministry is in regular contact with the offices of the World Health Organization, both in the country and in the European Bureau: "There are no factors creating conditions for the spread of the monkeypox in Azerbaijan. We hope that the population's observance of hygienic rules will not allow the spread of the virus in our country."
