Co-op memo signed in Astana between OTS doctors

A Memorandum of Cooperation on emergency medical care between the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has been signed at the National Coordination Center for Emergency Medicine in Astana, Report informs.

"Representatives of the healthcare ministries of the OTS countries, who lead or supervise the relevant area, took part in the signing of the document. The signing of the memorandum was an important step towards developing the emergency medical care system, exchanging professional experience and implementing innovative solutions," the OTS said in a statement.

The document was signed on behalf of Azerbaijan by the director of the Republican Center for Emergency Medical and Emergency Care Miralam Jalalov.

The memorandum will help strengthen mutual assistance in emergency situations and bring the healthcare systems of the Turkic states to a new level of development.
