Azerbaijani minister of health responds to groundless allegations of French and Armenian representatives

At the 73rd session of the European Regional Committee of the World Health Organization held in Astana, Azerbaijan's Minister of Health, Teymur Musayev, responded to the groundless allegations leveled against Azerbaijan by the representatives of France and Armenia, the Health Ministry told Report.

The minister noted that anti-terrorist measures were carried out in order to restore the sovereignty and constitutional structure of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to clear the territories of illegal Armenian military units.

Representatives of various international organizations made a number of visits to the Karabakh region. The reports prepared as a result of these visits stated that there was no damage to any civil infrastructure, including schools and hospitals. The local population told the missions that there were no incidents of violence against them, as well as the destruction of civilian and agricultural facilities.

Musayev emphasized that this issue was reflected in the reports of UNICEF and the Armenian office of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Also, in the statements made by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on September 21 and 23, it was stated that there is no danger for the civilian population: “All these facts once again prove that the allegations made by the representatives of France and Armenia are groundless.”
