Azerbaijan to establish center to control hospitals 

"It is planned to establish an accreditation and quality control center of medical institutions of the Ministry of Health," Minister Teymur Musayev said, Report informs.

According to him, the working group established at the ministry has revised the regulatory framework and prepared a regulation: "This regulation has been submitted to the relevant agencies. In world practice, these centers are engaged in licensing, evaluation of medical institutions, and accreditation of appropriate medical services. For this reason, the country has standards for the quality of sustainable medical services and the process of their control. Preparations are underway in this direction. Although the relevant structures of the Ministry of Health have this activity, it was necessary to create a center for its effective implementation. "
