Azerbaijan discloses weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded 27 new coronavirus cases over the past week (August 14–20), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
Nine COVID patients recovered, and no one died.
Overall, the country has reported 832,071 cases of infection, 821,747 recoveries, and 10,295 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 29 people are receiving treatment.
Over the past week, 2,516 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,668,437 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
As many as 166 people were vaccinated in the country during the past week.
The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,968,857.
