Azerbaijan confirms 53 new COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths

Azerbaijan has recorded 53 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 32 people recovered from the infection, and 6 patients died.

Overall, the country has reported 828,783 cases of infection, 818,418 recoveries, and 10,135 deaths. At present, 230 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, 1,664 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,534,623 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
