Azerbaijan confirms 40 new COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan has recorded 40 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 29 people recovered from the infection, and no one died.

Overall, the country has reported 828,588 cases of infection, 818,310 recoveries, and 10,119 deaths. At present, 159 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, 2,049 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,526,899 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
