Azerbaijan announces weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded 380 new coronavirus cases over the past week, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

221 people infected with COVID-19 recovered.

Overall, the country has reported 833,189 cases of infection, 822,484 recoveries, and 10,332 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 373 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past week, 3,856 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,688,073 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

No one was vaccinated in the country during the past week. The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,969,897.
