Azerbaijan announces weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded 142 new coronavirus cases over the past week (September 11-17), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

127 people infected with COVID-19 recovered.

Overall, the country has reported 832,580 cases of infection, 822,131 recoveries, and 10,302 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 147 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past week, 3,012 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,680,488 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

As many as 223 people were vaccinated in the country during the past week.

The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,969,615.
