Azerbaijan announces weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded 229 new coronavirus cases over the past week (September 18-24), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
132 people infected with COVID-19 recovered.
Overall, the country has reported 832,809 cases of infection, 822,263 recoveries, and 10,321 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 225 people are receiving treatment.
Over the past week, 3,729 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,684,217 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
As many as 282 people were vaccinated in the country during the past week.
The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,969,897.
