Azerbaijan announces weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded 111 new coronavirus cases over the past week (August 21–27), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
26 COVID patients recovered, and 5 died.
Overall, the country has reported 832,182 cases of infection, 821,773 recoveries, and 10,300 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 109 people are receiving treatment.
Over the past week, 3,386 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,671,823 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
As many as 70 people were vaccinated in the country during the past week.
The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,968,927.
