Zhaparov calls Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 important event

The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov, congratulated Azerbaijan on being chosen as the host country for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Report informs.

“It is indeed an important event, and we are very happy that our brotherly country is hosting such a great event,” Zhaparov said in a joint press conference with President Ilham Aliyev on April 24.

The President of Kyrgyzstan also expressed his satisfaction with the results of the talks with Ilham Aliyev today: “The agreements reached clearly demonstrate the mutual desire of our states to develop close relations in all fields, as well as to strengthen the atmosphere of friendship.”
