Vladimir Putin meets Azerbaijani prosecutor-general

On January 12, a delegation led by Azerbaijani Prosecutor-General Kamran Aliyev visited Moscow at the invitation of Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov to attend events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Prosecutor's Office, the press service of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor-General's Office told Report.

Russian President Vladimir Putin received the heads of the delegations and a solemn jubilee event was held at the Prosecutor-General's Office with the participation of Russian officials.

During the visit, Kamran Aliyev met with his Russian counterpart Igor Krasnov; Turkish counterpart Bekir Sahin; Pakistani Additional Attorney General Aamir Rehman; Tajik counterpart Yusuf Rahmon; Uzbek Prosecutor-General Nigmatilla Yuldashev; Kyrgyz Prosecutor-General Kurmankul Zulushev, President of the International Association of Prosecutors Cheol-Kyu Hwang, Christos Giakoumopoulos, Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe, prosecutor-generals of other states, as well as leaders of influential international organizations to discuss current relations and prospects for future cooperation.

At the same time, a meeting between the Prosecutors-General of Turkic-speaking countries was held on the margins of the event to discuss prospects for future cooperation.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu attended the events.
