US Embassy employees congratulate people of Azerbaijan

In honor of Azerbaijani Language and Alphabet Day, Americans working at the Embassy and their families showcased their skills in Azerbaijani, Report informs.

Chargé d'Affaires Hugo Guevara said that many of the Embassy diplomats and their families study Azerbaijani before and during their posting in Baku:

“Happy Azerbaijani Language and Alphabet Day! Today we commemorate the language of Nizami Ganjavi. Many of the Embassy diplomats and their families study Azerbaijani before and during their posting here in Baku.”

The employees of the US Embassy also recited poetries and tongue-twisters in Azerbaijani. One of the diplomats said the word “müvəffəqiyyətsizləşdirilməyəcəklərimizdənsinizmi” which is very hard to pronounce.
