US acting deputy ambassador visits Azerbaijan-Iran border

US Acting Deputy Ambassador Mark Hernandez and a team from the Embassy visited the Astara border checkpoint in southern Azerbaijan today, the embassy said on X, Report informs.
"The US Embassy deeply appreciates Azerbaijan’s ongoing support as we work to assist US citizens entering the country. The safety and security of Americans remains our highest priority," it said.
