Ukrainian embassy: Azerbaijan supported Ukrainians since first days of war

The Ukrainian Embassy has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for the significant humanitarian aid since the beginning of the war, Report informs.

The post of gratitude was published on social networks on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day.

"We honor the memory of those who defended and supported humanity in the most difficult times. This day has a special meaning for Ukraine," reads the publication.

The embassy noted that humanitarian support from international and public organizations, donor countries, businesses, and ordinary people expressing solidarity with Ukraine helps overcome difficulties.

"We express special gratitude to friendly Azerbaijan, its leadership, and all the people who have supported Ukraine from the first days of the war. We sincerely thank you for your humanitarian aid, especially in the energy sector, as well as for the rehabilitation and health programs for children affected by the war," the publication says.
