The international system is unable to withstand the current crises and challenges, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the official opening ceremony of the IV Diplomacy Forum in Antalya, Report informs.
He noted that the forum has become a global brand in the field of diplomacy:
"Here we show that we stand for dialogue instead of conflicts, for a fair approach instead of a show of force. The heart of global diplomacy will beat in Antalya for three days. We are witnessing that while humanity adapts to technological innovations, the international system is unable to overcome crises."
The Turkish president stressed that Ankara wants to achieve stability in the region.
"We are not a country that remains on the sidelines of problems. Historically, Türkiye has been surrounded by imperialist games and tensions. We not only live in this region, it belongs to us. We have lived here for a thousand years and will continue to live here," he added.
