Turkish Foreign Ministry: Our solidarity with Azerbaijan will be eternal

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended its congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of June 15 – National Salvation Day, according to Report.

"Congratulations to Azerbaijan on National Salvation Day! Our solidarity with Azerbaijan will continue eternally — in both sorrow and joy," ministry said in a post on X.

Today, Azerbaijan marks National Salvation Day, commemorating the pivotal moment, when 32 years ago, National Leader Heydar Aliyev returned to power and rescued the Azerbaijani state and nation from internal division.

On June 15, 1993, during a speech in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), Heydar Aliyev announced a new strategy for the country's development, a moment that entered the nation's history as National Salvation Day.
